Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church-Cranberry Relish

What You’ll Need: 

  • 18 Cups of Cranberries-about 3 bags
  • 2 Oranges
  • 1 Large Apple
  • ½ Lemon
  • 3 Cups of Sugar

Directions: 

  1. Zest the lemon and oranges, save the zest for later
  2. You’ll have to do this in batches, but add the cranberries, oranges (cut off outer skin), apples, and lemon (cut off outer skin) to the food processor.  Make sure to add sugar to each batch you do.  I split it up into 3 batches, 1C of sugar in each batch. 
  3. Mix all the batches together in a large bowl after it goes through the food processor. Stir in the zest. 
  4. Serve! Tastes better as it sits and lets the sugar gets broken down.  Make it at least one day before you plan to serve.  Freezes well!
